Big news is rolling in from the west side of Indianapolis. A brand new Kia store is in the works up in Boone County, complete with a bigger showroom, more parking, and a fresh name on the sign. If you shop or service with us, the details below cover what shifts and what stays exactly the same.

The short version? We’re headed north. We’ve got plans in the works for a roughly 30,500-square-foot Kia dealership and showroom with close to 600 parking spaces. The new site will include service bays, a car wash, detailing, a parts department, offices, and a covered drop-off and pick-up garage so you’re not standing in the rain waiting for your keys. A separate accessory building will handle EV batteries away from the main showroom.

Until the doors open on the new store, your routine stays the same. Sales, service, parts, and financing all keep running on the same schedule at our current Indianapolis location. Your service history, warranty coverage, and any paperwork you’ve signed with us follow you to Whitestown. Same team, same phone number, and the same faces who already know you and your Sportage by name.

Where the New Dealership Will Sit in Whitestown

The new store will open along the Indianapolis Road corridor, south of Whitestown Parkway and just west of Interstate 65. Anyone who has taken the Whitestown Parkway exit for a shopping run or driven past the Anson shops already knows the stretch. Boone County has been one of the fastest-growing pockets in Indiana for well over a decade, and Whitestown sits right at the heart of it. Plans also call for a new access road off Indianapolis Road named Ray Skillman Way, which should make pulling in and out a lot less of a headache than a typical highway-adjacent lot.

Getting to Ray Skillman West from Around Indy

Worried about the drive? Most of our regulars won’t feel much of a difference. Ray Skillman West shoppers coming from Speedway, Eagle Creek, or the Lafayette Road area can hop on I-65 north and reach the Whitestown Parkway exit in roughly 15 minutes outside of rush hour. From the far west side, I-465 to I-865 connects straight to I-65 with no city traffic in between. Brownsburg drivers have a clean shot north on State Road 267, and Zionsville is a quick run west on State Road 334. Lebanon, Carmel’s west end, and the northwest side all fall within easy reach too.

Honestly, for a lot of Indy Kia owners, the trip may get shorter. The current lot sits tucked behind a busy retail corridor. The new one sits a few hundred yards off an interstate exit.
